Why Analysts at the Fraser Institute Should Stop Reporting on Schools and Try Attending One
Accountability is all the rage today – businesses demand it, the public wants it, public institutions promise it. But what is it? None of the above seems to know.
I know what it isn’t, however. It isn’t what the Calgary Herald and the esteemed Fraser Institute are selling as accountability. What they are selling, as best I can figure out, is ignorance or incompetence – the jury is still out. Maybe both.
