A Pastor of the New Hope Christian Reformed Church Talks About Evoultion. God Help Us.

On Sunday, April 22 the Calgary Herald printed an opinion piece by John van Sloten entitled: Partnering faith and science in search of God. John van Sloten is a pastor of the New Hope Christian Reformed Church in Calgary, Alberta. The article is one of those typically hopeless attempts at reconciling religion and science on the issue of evolution. Pastor John opens is article with: “I’ve never understood the dispute between ‘faith’-based creationists and ‘fact’ – based scientists.” and then spends the rest of the article proving it. The Calgary Herald writer Michelle Magnan promotes chiropractic nonsense that could harm your baby.

Maybe we can attribute it to the date. In the Friday April 13th, 2007 edition of the Calgary Herald, writer Michelle Magnan wrote a seemingly innocuous piece entitled: Getting baby ready for birth. Unfortunately, any pregnant women gullible enough to take what Ms. Magnanhas to say seriously, may well end up harming their babies — and bad luck will have had nothing to do with it.
